M'kay so, I starting making this chart up, but I didn't finish it before the release was ready.
At any rate, what we seem to have found was that there were 3 brothers: the old guy @ the end of episode 3 of S.ifr, Richard (Sifr's father), and Bruce (the youngest). Originally the word used to address Bruce in episode 1 was a more general 'lord' term, which wasn't specific as to what type of royalty, so we simply assumed he was the king, when in fact he was just a prince... brother to the current king.
That said, there was a few eyebrow raising moments for me when remastering the script, I suppose. The old fellow did not seem to have any kids, so Sifr's existence probably shouldn't have been a big of a deal as it was as, after all, Richard would've been next in line to have a kid to continue the line anyhow. Then again, I guess they supposed the older fellow still "had time." In fact for all I know they could've been implying that the old geezer
still had time, lol.
This brings further into question who Nina's parents were. We have a couple of different possibilities, though IIRC the mother shown in the Otome series main looked an
awful lot like Sifr. It would also likely be a good reason Rena seemed to show so much affection toward her when dropping her into the river.
Nina's father could have also theoretically been Bruce, following a trend of darker hair. Even squickier is the possibility, I guess, that she was born of Bruce AND Sifr... a little uncle-niece get together if you will. I don't necessarily find the latter likely however.
